Salesforce Shield

I was originally scheduled to deliver a presentation on Salesforce Shield: Event Monitoring, but due to covid-19 the event has been postponed until 2021. I think it is best for me to share some pieces of that presentation here so others can benefit from the key takeaways of the product offering.

Shield has three unique products: Encryption, Field Change Auditing and Event Monitoring.

The Product can be a beast, so my talk (also presented at DF19) focuses on the Event Monitoring piece. To best understand how it can help your business, I broke Event Monitoring up into three pillars: Security, Performance and Adoption.

Utilizing the App Template Wizard, you can set up your Event Monitoring App. You will need to determine what you want included in your Datasets and how many days worth of data you plan on storing (there are limits to the # of data flows)
